ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a retail sales associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while contributing to the success and growth of our business. You will be part of a small and close-knit team dedicated to curating, marketing and selling rare and sought-after sneakers and streetwear. Your passion for sneakers, in-depth product knowledge and offering, and customer service skills will be essential in achieving both individual and team sales targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Customer Engagement: Ensuring customers are well-serviced and attended to at all times in the retail store. Adaptability to various customer types is essential in order to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Assist customers in their selection and suggestions to meet their desired preferences.
- Product Knowledge: As such, a thorough idea of our sneaker and streetwear inventory, styles and market trends is essential.
- Sales and Merchandising: Actively participate in customer engagement to meet individual and team sales targets. Assist the Company in the organisation and maintenance of the store to ensure upkeep of the brand's image as well as to reduce the potential of stock losses and damages.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the store is always clean, organised and visually appealing. Work closely within the team to ensure accurate and strict inventory management at all times. Handle sale transactions and maintain & process relevant records immediately. Adherance to store policies and procedures, including security measures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Passion for sneakers and streetwear and an up-to-date knowledge of current market trends and styles
- Previous retail sales experience ideal, preferably in the sneaker or fashion industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, that will assist in meeting both individual and team targets
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisation skills
WORKING HOURS:
Full-time position.
Monday - Friday: 10:00 to 16:00*
Saturday: 10:00 to 15:00*
